“Probably the best museum I’ve ever been to,” said James after 4 hours at the Imperial War Museum in Duxford, Cambridgeshire … we definitely tested the upper limit of the girls’ attention span on this one. We boarded a Concorde and saw more than 100 incredible aircraft including B-52 and Vulcan bombers, the SR-71 Blackbird and loads of Spitfires. The highlight for Lizzy was the flight simulator where we were in a German Me109 in a dogfight with Spitfires near the white cliffs of Dover.
